When we exhibit confidence, people want to hear what we have to say. They want those positive “confidence vibes” to rub off on them. Confidence makes people want us on their team! To hire us. To socialize with us. If you need to “fake it until you make it,” hold your head high, speak clearly and slowly, have erect yet open and friendly body language, and most importantly…smile!
When you are networking, approach people who look lonely and uncomfortable, and ask questions about them. It’s the best way to gain confidence and initiate conversations that could lead to new personal and business relationships!
